Great picture. Does it make a difference having people watching? I found with cycling that going from one man and his dog one week, to a full velodrome did add to the nerves. Especially as, if the event was that big I was likely to get my arse (publicly) kicked. Then gun went and the focus went back to the racing. A bit like driving on a mountain pass; The drop is scary just looking over the edge but drive hard and the road is just the same as any other; Just concentrate on the black stuff.

With all that power and torque... what could go wrong? No pressure! ;)

To be honest I didn't really notice. I drive within my limits so tend not to spin/hit things but I don't necessarily get the fastest times.

One of a number of great shots by James Waters of the car at Hethel Sprint in May.
