So the small rebuild to replace a fuel tank and re fresh the back axle took a different turn yesterday.
I now appear to have removed the boot liner and cut off the rear clam.
Having not built the car originally I am really surprised how little was supporting the rear bodywork.
I'd like to do it so that the rear bodywork is removable if wanted I.e. not bonded to the boot floor.
Has anyone done this, and if so how?
Will need a new boot lining at some point as well, can't decide if I should fab up a new one in fibreglass. Make a drawing and get one created in Ali, or just to contact Steve at fury sports cars and order a new one! Decisions decisions.
