Need More parts info

Hello again,
Recently I asked for advise about front suspension parts for my 03 Phoenix and I recieved the following info and I inturn ordered the parts.

Bottom swivel (Front suspension) Quinton Hazell part - QR 1774RHT
Be careful buying a pair for the Sherpa, as one is right hand thread, the other left hand.
You need 2 x RHT. Many of the ebay ones are LHT

I just went to fit these items and found that they do not fit. The threaded section of the existing part is 19mm in Dia while the new one is 20mm and the new part has a much larger tapered pin.
Does anybody have any ideas???????

Sounds like you have Transit ones as used on most locost's as top ball joints - they are M20 with too large a taper for escort uprights ?
8 is too many , 4 aint enough , so it's gotta be 6

Sorry, I think it was my duff advice. It was quoted directly from the manual though.

Hi Matt,
Its not your fault, I have been doing some more research and it appears that some of the Sherpa's use the one that I bought :( . I should have bought the SS1102 not the SS5016, this is apparently a replacement for the QR1774RH.
If any one knows where I may be able to buy the correct part and get it sent to Australia I would love to know their details.

You could ask the Raw-striker guys. They support the Phoenix, and it isn't a difficult task for them to put one in a box and go the post office.

If you struggle to find someone who does this for a living then let me know and I can try to get one from my local spares place and ship to you.

I wonder if they are the same as the Fury, seems likely. I know there was an issue with aftermarket parts not being exactly as the originals although they were OK on the Sherpa.

Hello Matt,
I have been in contact with the EBAY seller and I believe that item is not the correct one. It is not the replacement for the QR 1774RHT
Any other ideas?
