Mystery top ball joint

Hi

On a Striker Mk3, so might be the same as a Pheonix?
Chevette front upright underneath it, is this:-

Anybody got any ideas what its off, want to replace as they're getting on a bit!

Got it, had it pointed out to me 'tried looking at a chevette?'

Don't you just hate it when it turns out to be the blindingly obvious!
