or anyone else that knows their way around a Vtec engine.
Mine is a B18C4 by the way.
Do you know what the thread size is on the clutch cylinder mounted on the engine?
What fuel pump did you use? I assuming that you used an out of tank pump?
Did you stick with the standard ECU?

Re: Vtec Questions for Simon Winn
Hi Patrick,
Easy one first, fuel pump. I have used the standard Fiesta intank fuel pump, modified as per jeremys instructions to reach the bottom of the tank. Comparing the specs with the honda pump they are very similar so I thought it was worth a go, no problems yet.
ECU is the standard Honda item. Ive mounted it in the passenger footwell with a cover panel.
If its the thread for the hydraulic pipe I think its std 10mm. I have a short lenght of copper to a bracket, the a flexi to another bracket on the chassis.
Hope this helps
Simon

Re: Vtec Questions for Simon Winn
I was intending to use an out of tank pump, I'll have to check the honda forums for an answer.
Thanks anyway.

Sorry for the late reply but the laptop died last week.
I have used the standard breather connections although ive replced the solid pipe with with some silicone stuff as the engine cover was fouling on it.
Sounds like its coming along nicely.

Do you have any pic's of your breather pipe?
I'm not really sure what it's doing or connecting.
The standard one look odd in pic's, not seen one in the flesh. As I say, not sure what it's doing?

Re: Vtec Questions for Simon Winn
My standard breather goes from cam cover to air inlet. On the standard setup there are 2 metal pipes, one forms the air breather described and the other is the coolant bypass that goes between the two radiator pipes. I havent got any photos at the mo but i'll try and sort some.
