Riding to the rescue again, Dick & Jay from Snodhurst Service station where able to get the bodywork which went up in flames sorted out in a week. Bonnet and nearside pod all repaired and painted, offside pod and tub is next.
Jay kindly drove the car to and from the paint shop used and is a little wide eyed after the experience
Starting to look like I wanted it all along (one colour as a start!)

Looking good. Are you planning on any track days this year?

I was going to do the CKC one again (assuming they have space).
I'm at Blyton on Sunday doing the Javelin Series.

Can't make the CKC Llandow one unfortunately. This weekend I'm going away skiing (so not exactly unfortunate). I might look at doing the second CKC day at Blyton. The only Javelin sprint I could make would be the later Blyton day but it's on the eastern circuit (which I find a bit crap).

Re: Phoenix from the ashes
The CKC day in Wales is sold out so my target to get the Striker to it is a bit pointless, however Blyton gives me time to get it sorted on the road/ rolling road first which is no bad thing. My 'to do' list now comfortable fits on a single side of A4.
