I can't believe you've had so much trouble with this engine Simon , the word ' porkies ' comes to mind :roll:

Simon,

Sorry to hear of your woes. I bought a couple of ex-sidecar engines. "both run fine, one is a bit down on power", turned out that one had a blown head-gasket and the other had 2 bent valves and 2 valves embedded in the pistons. It seems that GSXR engines make people delusional.

well all is good and hopefully fixed in the engine department. phoned the engine builder to ask for some more information on the rebuilt engine as i did confirm that the bearing was loose in the casing. I just wanted to confirm which bits i could swap over. he was in the test bay so would phone me back like he did last time.

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: that was 2 days ago !!!

just to make sure all is well with the engine I have gone out and purchased another engine today :|

my only saving grace is that the 2 engines I have here have Nova Transmission gearboxes in at £1000 pound a pop so will get on and sell them. back to building and hopefully will see you all at North Weald for the kick off
