Just got back from a really good day. No rain everyone in a good mood and loads of runs.
I can now hang up my Goodwood L plates 91.44.

And very well deserved Simon , a brilliant result after only ever having one very wet lap in April I was very pleased with my own lap which at 93.43sec's was a big jump from my previous recent best of 96.08 sec's ----- wasn't expecting an improvement , just pleased to maintain my norm ' if possible
I was also lucky to get through scrutineers with the help of a friendly regular competitor , arranging for me to replace my seat belt via his workplace 3 miles away ----- scrutes found a couple of tiny wear marks on my belt so rejected the car
That's the nice thing about our hobby/sport ----- people are helpful , even when you beat them

Thanks for the comments Rob, I think this is why once you start this sport it is very adictive. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help. For some reason I had a really good day, more so than before. I think we were all so happy it did not rain that we all stepped up to the mark and put quicker times in.
