Goodwood - 28th April
Just got the entry list for this.....I have a class of 11 ! but most are Elises plus Paul Bowden and a Caterham CSR260. Rob and Simon have a Radical entered in their class and poor old David has to run a Westfield Only other JPSC car is a Leader 400 in the under 1700 kit class.

It was cars like Radicals and Mallocks I was running with at Gurston last Saturday but at least I managed to pip my 9yrs ago last entry there by 1.06sec's Having said that , it scared the hell out of me on the first run
Goodwood's going to be wet according to the forcast so at least three of those in our class(sports libre)will be on proper wet tyres and watching Nigel last year on his wets was impressive --- I was lucky it dried later to beat him , on wets he was in front of me by over a second

As I don't have any wets I might end up sitting in the garage all day.

No , me neither but will probably just potter around very carefully if it really is torrential Nigel goes pretty well on his 10 inch x 13 wets --- unless Simon feels brave and really wants a Goodwood GONG

Thats sounds good to me bring on the rain only trouble is, and hopefully I will shrink once wet
I bet the radical will bring some wets with him as well.

Good news: I've got some proper wets
Bad news: can't use them in a road going class
It'll stay dry . . . . . . . . . .

Se7en Pervert -- by definition; I don't drive a Caterham

Re: Goodwood - 28th April
Very wet Goodwood.....It took all morning (till 12.30) to do the practise runs during which we had a Golf drop oil & fuel on the track, an Elise in the barriers, a single seater go in backwards and Simon & myself excluded for noise (104dB drive by in my case) and Rob stop on circuit with gear selection issues. I think David did OK?
It was truly horrible to drive and yet again I didn't do any timed runs. But the car now charges the alternator and I don't have oil coming out anymore !!!!!!! I need to get the car to Powerspeed to repack and reset the exhaust.
