So where did you end up in your championship then?

I came 2nd overall in the 7Oaks Speed League and I won my class in Tunbridge Wells MC championship. I'll be entering a few more championships next year and trying to win the 7Oaks on (although with the best 12 from 24 rounds to count it is a little difficult).

Nothing special . . .

4th in class in the WSCC Speed Series (but did only eight rounds -- ten count), and seventh overall in the Borough 19 Sprint Championship. More events next year!

First in class (modified, non-road going kit cars under 1800cc) in the Curborough Lifeline Championship and also first in class in the Midland Speed Championship - the one that Jim Spencer won overall. Few cars in the class for Midland Speed, but Lifeline class grew as year progressed.

Not far up the overall position in the ACSMC Speed Champ'p at 12th but 1st in class / Sports Libre for the same Champ'p . Only did 4 events and a non champ'p event. Most numbers of 8 in class came at a non Champ 'p Goodwood event which put me 2nd in class.
Probably similar entry in 2012.

Hi All

Erm.. Not a bad year really

Midland speed 1st o/a
Chester & Liverpool 1st o/a
HSA 1st in Class
ANWCC Hillclimb 1st in Class
& ANWCC Sprints 2nd Overall.

David was:-

Midland speed 1st in class
HSA 2nd in Class
ANWCC Hillclimb 2nd in Class
& ANWCC Sprints 1st in Class.

Our excuse is that most of these series overlapped a bit so we registered for all of them.. plus the Westfield club turned up quite often so we tried extra hard when that hapened 8-)
Fortunatly the only reliability problem we had (an engine with a big hole in it..) was right at the end of the season so it didn't effect any of the championships. A really good fun season, some real tooth & nail battles, litterally a few hundreths over the top 3 or 4 at some of the gigs, was great fun, looking forward to 2012

Just thought you might like to see Jim getting one of his awards for the Midland Speed Championship.

7Oaks annual dinner is the 4th Feb. I'm getting 3 cups apparently, 2nd Overall, Local & Kent Times (or the turning up award as far as I can figure).
