H'mm , Jeff is gonna love this but I'll say it anyway --------- as we get more mature David , we can still see (sort of) , move our right foot up and down plus have ' some ' hair left BUT certain bits get smaller so we use our brains instead ------- this is our downfall

You're right, Rob -- and it's an interesting conundrum in evolutionary theory. I can understand the "tumescent gonads" of the young, it ensures that only the more capable get to reproduce. But why do the "mature", who have fulfilled their evolutionary duty, value life and limb so highly?

Very good David  Maybe youth encourages infalability plus they've got more time left to accumalate the rebuild consequences £££ :?: Having collided with a tree on and off track , I'd like a little more time to play with the car before it passes to my son ;) , well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it

As I pulled in after doing the 96.15 it dawned on me that
a, it was a pretty quick lap not far from the limit
b, that I still had to drive it home.

Neither of these things crossed my mind on the run itself....sign that I still need to grow up ? ;)

Don't try to hurry the process , it'll happen whether you like it or not at some point :o

Next outing is 6th August at Goodwood and then the 28th August at North Weald. I'm not particularly quick and I'm beaten (in my class) by 4-5 secs by the quick guys.

Looking at the finals that arrived yesterday , your class is a real mixed bag isn't it . Looks as though they've put classes together and no Mark Cheever/Fury this time :?:
A surprise in mine too , no Nigel Baker/spaceframe Escort but two guys/cars I've not seen before , both silly power V8's on slicks with Goodwood lap times in 2010 quicker than my recent performance. Possibly been in modified production before.
It would be nice to have a hot dry day on the 6th Aug
