David

Many thanks for posting all those dates . Spoilt for choice :D . I think we'll just be trying the RAFMSA ones for the first year , asssuming we can get associate membership . May well go and spectate at some of the others though . Be nice to know if any members are competing in any events during the course of the year .

John

It looks as though Chris and I will be registering for all three of the WSCC, SBD and B19 championships -- and doing Barkston in our spare time :P

Luckily there are several duplications in the programme (especially Hethel and Pembrey 8-) ).

To keep track, I've asked Peter if the site can provide a calendar function.............................his initial response was very polite!

I see from the 750 club news for 2010 that there's going to be a ''Striker only'' series featuring zetec blacktop engines , all the same spec' from RAW . Definitely a driver orientated race series --- bit like the Caterham Academy but cheaper . That should boost Raw's kit market

Rob

I think the "Striker Only" series will likely run as a class of the Kit-Car Championship.

Hi

A few of the Sprint & Hillclimb series in the North west:-

Chester & Liverpool Speed Championship:-
http://www.speedchampionship.com/

Midland Speed Championship:-
http://www.midlandspeed.org.uk/

Association of North West Car Clubs:-
http://www.anwcc.org/
.. Then click 'Championships' and drill down into Hillclimbs or Sprints

There is a significant amount of overlap, you can actually do all 3 championships by attending about 10 events :D

There are many venues along the South plus Midland areas to compete at if you join the ACSMC SPEED and HILLCLIMB Championship. This way you will get invitations/reg's delivered to your door then you can pick and choose OR enter a complete season , just as you like. Dave Penn used to be it's co-ordinator for many years but now it's Dave Whyman and all info plus contacts are on the website below.
http://www.acsmc.com

I wont be completing a full season but aim to compete at a few I fancy below.
Testing 6th April Goodwood pm session ------ 93.4 sec's flying lap (1.6 sec's above my best ever  )
BOGNOR REGIS SPRINT Goodwood 24th April ------- 1st in class 97.8 sec's standing start
CLASSIC TOURING CAR RACING CLUB SPRINT Goodwood 15th May ------- 1st in class 95.48 sec's standing start
TWMC TONHIRE SPRINT 26th June ----- at my cousin's wedding , so it's out
BRIGHTON & HOVE SPRINT Goodwood 1st week August :?:

GURSTON DOWN HILLCLIMB July :?:
PESTOLLOZZI HILLCLIMB :?: --- Coastal KENT same week as BHMC Goodwood Aug :?:

Sorry for the question marks but don't have the details right now
