What was the outcome of the roll bar issues? Will you still be in the same car next year or has it sold?

The roll bar is now fully certified to FIA standard (you can imagine how much that cost). The car is for sale but isn't sold, if it doesn't sell by March I'll run it next year.

Disappointing. The car is showing lots of potential and has speed but keeps having silly little* problems.

*Not sure Jeff thought it silly when the rear suspension push rod failed at >180mph but the car and driver made it back to the pits safely to fight another day. In hindsight it could have ended up a lot worse, it only needs a new pushrod and front tyre which flat spotted with the unbalanced load. Race against time to now get it fixed for the next round in 2 weeks time.

This pushrod is supposed to be straight!

Run out of travel and buckled the rod?
Something binding and not letting go of the rod?

Either way must have been scary at speed.

Has that gearbox got an oil cooler on it ? I see a weigh reduction coming

I think the general consensus is that the aero load at 180mph is higher than the car has experienced before in circuit use with lower power engines and Jeff found the weakest link so to speak. He is getting a new pair of pushrods made up out of thicker/bigger tube to cope with the higher loads.
