Ready but not relishing a forcast washout --- I'd be happy to just get at least one dry run

I cannot believe how wet we have had it this year, at this rate my rain suit will be worn out

Probably gives you better airflow than your race overall though

Re: Hillclimb & Sprinting
Good JPSC turn-out at Hethel -- and the weather stayed good (for the most part glorious) until the sudden thunder storm and downpour for the awards ceremony. Borough 19MC organised extremely efficiently to get one hundred competitors through two practice and three timed runs by just after three o'clock. They also kept up standards with a lovely sign saying: "No Unorthorised Persons beyond this point"
Simon Boulter seemed to be going well in Class C13 in the Über-Striker, on what is very much a "power and braking" circuit -- despite facing some seriously capable opposition (Clive Wooster (Radical) and Duncan Cowper and Gino Cuomo in Turbo Dax Rushes),
Nigel Fleming held his own (get thee behind me!) in Class A8 against the higher power and sequential boxes of Peter Goulding (Westfield 2.0VX), Philip Wood (Westfield 2.0 Duratec) and Stephen Laing (Caterham R500),
Chris managed to win Class C12 in our Striker-Busa against the Mallock of Glyn Ridge and the Caterham R400 of Gerry Fincham,
Mike Smith (Striker Puma 1700) and I (Westy 1600VX) enjoyed a very tight struggle for second place in Class A7, but neither of us could get near John Loudon (Westfield Puma 1700). John is very probably the fastest <1700 road-going kit car in the country at present.
I will post further when I have the "orthorised" results.

I was very impressed with Peters time and he did look very smooth going round.
