Thanks for the comments Rob, I am still a bit overwhelmed by it all and cannot get over how well the car and I performed in the conditions. I took one of the fast corners faster then I have ever done in the dry  .

For some reason I just had this belief that I could go quicker, I just launched the car into the fast corners and it held. This also helped with my braking awareness.

I just need to implement this on a dry track.

I am so pleased with my first season and the way I have improved.

Simon -- given the description of the day at Debden from my good friend Mr. Goulding:

"very very wet muddy and stoney and wet lol. Was a **** day but I enjoyed it in the end. it took me over an hour to clean car before putting it away in garage. never been so dirty.
running water across the track in two places." . . . . . .

You did very well indeed 8-)

I have just spent all night cleaning my car and it is still in loads of bits. They had to sweep the course before we ran and a lot of us did a track walk and picked up stones as well. The 2 streams of water across the track kept it interesting as one was right on the corner coming back from the roundabout, flat in third and the car just aquaplaned across the track. I also seemed to find all the wet mud and coming across the finish line went into a massive sludge puddle

I had a few chats through the day with Peter and the white bits on his car were covered. nice car I liked it.

Two day event at Blyton this weekend :) . Pretty much the largest entry I've seen anywhere in a while :) .
JPSC represented only by Emma Bennison (Striker) and Chris/ Mark Anson in mine :(

Rob -- I'm a virgin too. Venue is recently rebuilt, and looks good on the video.

What the Scunthorpe Premier Inn will be like, heaven only knows :?:

175 miles from me, Rob -- so a bit further than Curborough.
