Jeff, the problem is that the organising club can specify their own class structure, albeit in this case closely based on the blue book. So if you google both 2014 and 2015 regs for BARC sprint they specifically exclude kits from class 10 and the mention of kits under sports libre in this years regs would suggest that nothing has changed.

I think the regs are wrong previously Nigel. Mod Series Prod would exclude kits but Mod Specialist Prod is exactly what Kits should be in.
Anyway, nice of you to post on here for the first time since you joined in 2010

Oh, I am weak!! I have capitulated!
I have renewed my licence with the organization whose name may not be spoken.
And I have arranged for my car to go and have its cage b******dised.
So it's road-going kits again for me this year.

I suppose the question is wheres the competion going to be? Will people move to modprod because of tyres? You dont want to end up like I was in the lonely sport libre class, sometimes there would only be 2 of us.

Mod Spec Prod is the easiest as I can use up the A24 ZZRs and then go to slicks (with a log book). But as you say, if there is no one in the class is it pretty pointless.
