Goodwood Sprint 25-04-2105

Postby dopdog » Sun Apr 26, 2015 2:29 pm

Some of you might not have noticed that the boultervision channel had been off air due to technical difficulty. i.e. me not remembering to turn the video on

But please see below the next instalment from this weekends Goodwood. My main objective was to go quicker than I had been in the striker, and I am pleased to say it was a great success and the old tim was beaten by over a second. :D

Nice run mate.

Sadly I had to withdraw after backing the car into the tyres at Woodcote. Should be fixed by next weekend for Hethel though !

That doesn't sound good. Is there much damage?

Some bodywork which is being done now, turns out the exhaust has split which fried the wiring going to the rear lights.

lol....actually no, I never record practise. It turns out the tyre was rubbing the exhaust which is what caused the spin.

Wheel is intact, just rubbed. Wiring to the rear light are all crispy and need replacing. I'm going to go back to a side exit exhaust system and bin the rear exit, too many issues with heat/clearance.
