Well done Jeff.

Isn't NW a lovely place!

Are you using a "trick-shifter" of any sort -- if so, perhaps a little adjustment on the downshifts?

All best

Just the manual lever at the moment David. I decide to do this in stages....had to make sure the box worked first. I got caught out going down to the Banjo as the wheels locked and hence why I didn't downshift until very close to the cone.

So, good decision? Did it come naturally or did you try H shifting occasionally?

Good decision...yes, mind you the total including fitting/clutch/new mounts/electronics & Gearbox is over £9K....

It feels bullet proof. I was able to change up and down OK while moving but I still use the clutch (I need a stern discussion with the driver). The weird thing is going into neutral (lift the collar and then one forward) and a few times I selected reverse (much to the surprise of other cars in the queue). I am so used to one down and 5 up as per bikes so it is a little odd to have neutral inbetween reverse and the 6 forward gears. Once I get the gear display working it will be fine, assuming I bother to look at it !

Just fitted a gear display to my car and yes you do see it all the time and finding neutral is now a dream :D

Was there just you driving?

I put a gear indicator on mine last year. It's was one of those things I didn't miss having... but wouldn't be without now I've tried one. Not sure how it makes neutral easier to find though.

I could never find it, either 1st or 2nd, then I would stall the car then it would not start without a jumper battery(sorted) so now I can see the big blue N all is happy in my world :D
