Simply... I can think of better ways of spending 4k than trying to prove something I already know.

Re: 2015 Sprint Calendar
It's a good few years since I did 12 plus events a season but even then never spent £4000 doing it . I didn't do Cadwell when it was on our list many years ago , Curborough was as far North as I travelled but did go to Dunkerswell which was as far West as I went . Bentwaters in 2005 was as far East I went . Twelve events , some SAT/SUN doubles cost me around £2000 , but of course , I never stayed over apart from camping at Lydden . Just left the house between 4-00am and 6-00am depending where . Very wearing though , especially when you're still working

Same as me 4K does seem a lot but then we do not go every weekend like Jeff does

Don't kid yourself Simon....you spent that as well, include a set of tyres, fuel to get to and from, entry fees, accommodation, consumables on the car.

Re: 2015 Sprint Calendar
2014
16 Events (Average Entry Cost £110) = 1760
Set of Tyres = £500
Diesel (best guess 16 events at 150miles average = 2400. 22MPG towing = 109 Gallons = 491l @ £1.27 = £624
Petrol for Kit - £200
One oil change = £100
Food & Accom (say 8 away events, £80 average Hotel + £30 on food for the weekend = £960
Set of Pads = £100
£4244
Average per event = £265.25
Lots of assumptions as I don't actually keep accurate costings (!).
So Adi, if you did 8 local ish events you would be in for £1500-£2000
Cost of Motorsport Helmet/Gloves/Suit & MSA Nat B license £500 +
That's assuming you don't break anything...
