As long as there is competition that is fine. I always look at Pete, Gerry & your times anyway, just to compare where I stand.

I'm now 9th reserve for Hethel !

And sincere thanks to Jeff (as well as Paul Aspden and Martin Hepworth of the WSCC) for the offer of a double drive in our adversity. Kit-car people are something special!

Just as well David as I found some very large cracks through one of the discs and had to withdraw having done a 132.99 with suspect brakes. Duncan Cowper was into the 121secs when I left (Adrian did a 123, the S2000 Westie did a 124 and Pete did a 126 ).

Sorry to hear about the problem, Jeff. Beat your best from May though ;)

Lots of people seem to have had problems -- Derek Hodder had his rear suspension fail whilst braking from 140mph :o
