Regis Sprint 19th April

Postby dopdog » Thu Apr 03, 2014 8:29 pm

This is not good news Goodwood always seems to be a good turnout but this one? I have had a look and it does not clash with anything else?

"Sprint date approaching could do with some more entries only 35 at present, the club has decided to run whatever, so if you could gee up your competitors would be great."

I'm in the process of entering. This was the one that cost me lots of points last year for being excluded from the results.

I remember this well, maybe this is the reason for the low entry.

If I remember rightly,it was a noise issue? Are you confident your fancy new exhaust will solve the problem?

Yes, not sure 'fancy' is the phrase I'd use, been back since without an issue

Remarkably my car tested at 96db's today and it's always measured 105db's right on the edge at Goodwood , so hopefully my little internal mod' over the winter has done the job ---- we'll see what the Goodwood guys come up with on 19th April . We wont be making much noise if only 35 enter :o

My Stylus not ready yet (still fiddling with ECU config & map).
Hoping to get it finished off in next few weeks & if poss make it in time for a this one.
Not chucking away a large entry fee unnecessarily though !

Really poor entry for this event. I wonder if this is because of the issues last year with Bognor Regis MC excluding so many people or if this is just Goodwood and noise...

I think it could be a bit of both to be honest :(
