Lydden Sprint 6 April

Postby deecee » Sun Apr 07, 2013 3:24 pm

Good day at Lydden for the first time out for the J15. Not very quick but on 4 year old tyres which didn't help. Well that's my excuse anyway. Good to meet up again David and well done for 1st in class and 28th overall especially as the Nat Sprint boys were there too.

Thanks for that, David. Had to rush off back to our house-guests, so didn't see the results.

Glad it was a good shake-down for you.

Now looked at the results, and my initial disappointment at 28th overall has evaporated. Outside the single-seaters, only Jim Belt (3 litre Juno), Phil Wood (2.0 Duratec Westfield) and Stephen Moore in his Mitsu Evo (slightly ashamed about that one) went faster than my little 1600.
