Unlikely, methinks -- as long as I'm on't committee, WSCC won't be going there

Jeffrey -- that's horribly kittist. Many of the Westy people are really quite nice; I'm just the black sheep . . . . .

Apols, Jeff.
Astonishingly, "express service" turned out to be exactly that. I should have gears for Lydden

Re: Gearbox woes
Had a look at the car today , tunnel cover off to look at the quickshift which had no issues , so drained the box oil for inspection . Put it through a gauze (wife's tights ) and it was clean as a whistle , no residue at all nor nasty bronze filings . Took the dash out to see if it might be possible to drill out the rivets to remove the last piece of tunnel ally ---- no chance with the windscreen angled back so far and couldn't get at the selector pin anyway with my hands --- that's if I am lucky enough for the rollpin to be the cause
So it's an engine out job which won't get started until 15th April due to other commitments . That being so , there's no way it will be out , box sorted and back in by the 20th April --- the last chance for a refund May is spoken for so it'll be JUNE before I get any motorsport action this year --- ugh I can see that 2013 is well named
