Didn't miss much really, Jeff. Dry track with some sunshine, but very cold. One driver with more power than skill (apparently) managed to spin onto the grass accelerating away from the start :o

Bevy of young ladies (Wiltshire's Women?) in orange jackets kept asking where the "debonair chap in the red car" was. We tried palming them off with Steve Broughton or Deecee, but they were having none of it ;)
Se7en Pervert -- by definition; I don't drive a Caterham

Engine's out now and gearbox stripped of bellhousing/hydraulic clutch . Took the lid off , really hoping to see the roll pin partly out for an easy fix --------- no chance , looks perfect , no burrs on gears or rings plus there was absolutely no bronze residue in the totally clean oil I drained last week . All gears easily selectable so it's a chat with Brian Hill and a trip to KENT :(

Well , I was hoping that it would turn out to be something simple that I could do myself -- rollpin  Re -- KENT , it's there and back twice plus the repair cost , neither appeals much , apart from Brian's well known humour :D

Nothing wrong with Kent, I spent my formative years living next door to Brands. What do you mean that explains everything :?:
Treachery and old age will always triumph over youthful enthusiasm.
