Sorry to hear that Rob :( Only possible consolation is that it didn't happen mid-season -- plenty of time to get it sorted.

Valves stems are bent , guides and tappets need replacing but all else is ok. By the time you add new ARP's , gasket set and tensioner pulleys(bit warn) , the old pension is going to get a battering
It's no use without the engine though so no choice

Eelmore Sprint today. 56.30 for 2nd in class. First time at Eelmore which is a fun circuit although there was a serious incident with a S2000 hitting a tree on the drivers. The lady driver was taken to hospital and the event was delayed by 1 1/2hrs

this would of been faster but I locked up into the first corner....56.60

Very sorry to hear that -- but goes to reinforce my personal prejudice against hillclimbs (even flat ones, c.f. Thoresby Park)

Jeff -- unaccountably, you neglected to mention that. At least you didn't end up having to reverse this week ;) All best, David

I did all the reversing for him.
I spent more time on the grass or extracting myself from the trees than competing but I now know what the problem was apart from me trying to hard .......nothing that some cold hard cash wont sort out
At least they dont have corners at the end of the 1/4 mile this saturday
Mazda Rotary Westy SEIW.Soon to be sporting new body mods(wings etc) and better brakes so I can stop the damn thing
