Hi everyone
I've been the pround owner of my Sylva Striker now for just short of a year and wondered if anyone knew anything about it's history.
I have done a little maintainace on it and refurbed the interior over the last 11 months but tried not to change too much as I like the way it looked when I bought it.
It has a 1.8ltr Mk2 Golf Gti engine feeding off twin Dellortos which procdues a wonderful sound at full chat. The Tunnels in Doncaster (where I live. Hey somebody has to!) get quite a few drive throughs!!!. The car is black with the normal polished ali side panels. I will try and get to a few meetings in her (weather depending!) this year.
If anyone could tell me anything about her I would be greatful. Will post pictures soon!
Regards
Richard

Re: Striker owner!
Cheers Jeff!!
It came with little history but appears to be well made and has had some money spent on it at some point.
I'd just like to find out a liitle more about it and its builder.
it's my first kit car and we brought it back from the Cambridge area on the back of a trailer with snow coming down !!! would NOT do that again!!!
Love love love its handling!
Seems quite a unique engine choice too.

Nice looking car. Not seen a VW engine in one before; What gearbox is it fitted to?

It's a 5 speed type 9 which is useful on the motorway!
