I live near Nantes , owner of a xk8 Jaguar and a Mazda MX5 MK2,
I've just got a Fury , bought 2 weeks ago !
My first choise was a Ginetta , but it's very difficult to find british cars with french homologation
The engine is a 1300 Xflow of escort MK1 with carburetor Stromberg zenith
May have you seen it on this site :
http://www.google.fr/imgres?imgurl=http ... prmd%3DivoThe car is not very clean and I use internet to find parts for it !
Then you can be sure , I've got a lot questions to ask....
I'll post photos , when I'll find the method !
I hope to be excused for my language, it's my first post in English !

Welcome!
Is the car already registered in France or have you got to do that? Don't worry about your English, it's better than our French!

this Fury was registered before !
I've not enought time to do that, and it's too difficult with the french administration !
I think, if you don't know the good people, it's impossible alone !

I think I have been in that car, 2005 after I wrote off my Fury Fireblade near Metz.... Cannot remember the guys name who owned it, nice english guy who lived in the south of France. Had a beard?? He did have to buy the town Mayor dinner to register it.... In my shed I think I still have a photo of it with him in it. I spent a morning passengering it it through the Vosges mountains after doing the Laon Historique. He broke an engine mount on the Laon Satrurday run. You will normally see 5-10 Fisher Fury's at the Laon Historique, worth going along to if you can get up there.
