Hello

Postby robojxb » Wed Dec 16, 2009 11:08 pm

Just thought I would say a quick hello from sunny Littlehampton,West Sussex.
I sent off my cheque today for a J 15 chassis kit,and have been polishing bits of old Fords for a few months now!
I am planning on an all black J 15,but with a modern interior, with digital guages and composite seats.
I am looking at a very slow build in my back garden,(no garage!).
And if all goes well,by the end of the build,I will have thought of a way to get the finished car down the 4 foot wide alley way that leads to the main road!
I am looking foreward to it.Should be fun! :D
Cheers James

Welcome and good luck. I assume the J15 isn't 4ft wide then ? Looking forward on seeing a modern style J15 :)

Many thanks.
I have also ordered my chassis without a rollbar, probably foolishly.
The idea is to have 2 removable rollbars.
I will see how feasable that idea is,once I have my hands on the chassis.

Well if it has no roll bar, you could devise some way of turning it on it's side and wheeling it through! You wouldn't be the first I'm sure! Good luck with the build.
Don't put tomato ketchup on your salad cream sandwiches. It spoils the taste of the chocolate spread.

Thanks Timbo!
Yep,I reckon it will fit at around a45 degrees tilt ?? I am hoping that I will be able to make a re-usable frame to move the car in and out.But I think that I could be being a tad adventurous ???
