New leader owner
Hi my names Carl I live in Cheltenham and I have become the proud owner of a very yellow Sylva Leader looking forward to getting her on the road but first I have to work out the crazy wiring and other bodges

Hi yes it’s running a Fiat 1800 twin cam on twin Dellortos it a Chevette based SS leader I’ve had it running but the cabs need balancing and the electrics are horrible

Might be better to strip, clean and change all the gaskets on the carbs. I did my twin Webers and it wasn't that hard. You can also check all the internal jets.
I'm also (if/when I get time) replacing the whole wiring system in mine! Easier to start again sometimes than try to fix.

I think I might go that way as whoever did the wiring had good ideas but lacked the ability to carry them out properly and made it over complicated so I’m going to simplify it .
