Hi all,

I am looking to scratch the itch of motorsport after 40 years of spectating and after considering lots of cars have decided that a Fury is the car for me, initially I plan to go hillclimbing at Gurston Down but eventually want to move to circuit racing.
I had a Nova track day car a couple of years ago and admit that the adrenalin was rather addictive so am looking forward to this next chapter.
I am a mechanical Engineer and also a partner in a classic car workshop so have the skills and tools to fettle but know very little about racing and Furys so hopefully I can learn lots from these forums.

All the best,

Martin

Welcome Martin

If you intend to compete in MSA events please pay careful attention to ROPS regs and Tyre Lists as they will effect what you do during your build.

Thanks for the welcome,

I am reading the 2017 yearbook at the moment to check all the requirements, I am hoping to buy a road going car and then modify it for racing, I am keen to get started ASAP and the first Gurston event is April 22nd so the target date is set - I now just need to find a car!

Steve at Fury Sportscars is well aware of what is required with the ROPS as he changed my rollhoop on the Phoenix.
