Returning to Sylva after twelve years

Hi every one,
I have recently got myself another Sylva after selling my Cosworth turbo engined Leader in 2004.
As soon as my leader went out of my drive I regretted selling it but my mate wanted me to go circuit racing with him so I ended up racing a Honda CRX in the Classic Sports Cr Clubs Tin Tops series. In the last few seasons I have come to realize that age catches up with every one and at sixty two my lap times were getting slower and having always wanted a bike engined striker I sold up all my Honda gear and bought the Striker. It came with a newly built 1700cc ford cross flow the previous owner having converted it from pinto engine.
I have bought a Honda cbr1000rr7 and will be converting it over this winter along with a respray. I know a bike engined car is maybe not best suited to someone my age but it is an itch that must be scratched and as I live only four miles from Blyton park it should see plenty of action there.
If any one is looking for a fairly high spec crossflow (forged pistons, steel rods etc.) on 40 dcoe webbers and type 9 box they will be for sale as soon as I get them out.
The car as I brought it home. Any history on the car will be welcome.
