New Fury Owner

Postby Cpatten88 » Wed Sep 28, 2016 3:25 pm

Hi,

Thought I would I would pop over and introduce myself

Just finished our Fury Spyder build. We started back in 2011. Its been a slow build :?

We were third time lucky with the IVA, really struggled with keeping the noise down on BEC. I was also very disapointed with the inconsistancy of the IVA testers on certain areas of the tests.. Anyway thats done

Main specs:
2003 Yamaha R1 5PW Engine (ex AB Performance)
PC3 Map
Pipercross Sausage filter
4-1 Manifold to 6" silencer with sports cat
Freelander Open Diff
ProTech Suspension
13" Laser Capri wheels with AO48s

The aim is to enter my Fury into some Hillclimb/Sprint events.

Thanks!
Chris from Kent

Welcome.

Followed your trials with IVA over on LCB. Time to move on... to DVLA and registration.

There's been a few where DVLA have come through and got the reg sorted pretty quick. With a bit of luck you'll be on the road soon.

That's rapid! I always suspected that once it was all centralised, it should be quicker; Given that the numbers being dealt with would be high enough for them to be familiar with the process. With the local offices they did so few, no one really got to know what to do, before being moved on to other duties.

Get out and enjoy the good autumn weather. Be careful though... They can bite the unwary!

Noticing some more rattles now its hit national speeds!

Going to double check my Elite reverse box because the directional change stick seems to be very excited
