New striker owner

Postby ravingfool » Wed Jun 17, 2015 3:07 pm

Hi all,

I bought Pekwah1's striker earlier this year to refurb and drive.

I've got a load of photos on the phone but almost nothing uploaded online at the moment.

Here it is sat outside the office recently (it's there now too) and frankly with the state of the bodywork, this kind of distance is the best opportunity for a good photo!

Hopefully this works...

I've spent the last few weeks rewiring the car and pleased that it's now running properly but I have a long list of things I'm going to be doing to the car over time. Bodywork needs a lot of work but I have mechanical and useability matters to deal with first - leaky sump and replacing the speedo magnet being top of that list at the moment!

At the moment I'm also actively looking for a change of seats - I have tillets or similar at the moment with no thigh support which just leaves me with a dead leg after a little while. I'm also looking for doors and a hood. If anyone has any of these that they'd be interested in shifting or selling then do get in touch.

Cheers,

Phill
