Hallelujah, The Time for Open-Top motoring Has Returned
75+ miles in glorious sunshine and "adequately warm" temperatures today -- feel ten years younger

Did you have the sunroof open in the X3?

Jeffrey -- you insult me (no change there then) -- the X3 is an X5, and it has no sun roof.

I'm sorry David, I get confused with all these German Faux Off-Roaders
So what was the open top motoring in then? The Striker will make it a few miles before you'll not be able to change gear so it can't be that.

Jeff, have patience with the hoi polloi -- not everyone can own a Range Rover.
For open top motoring (which I love) beyond the (admittedly minute) range of the Striker, and for holidays, I have a "faux GT convertible" from the same stable as the "faux off-roader".
