Hi All
Have a bit of a dilema I have a 1997 phoenix/MK4 clubman and am looking for a set of seats so far the choices are JK composites or Intertrim odssey. My preference is the intertrim seats. However as I have such short legs when I try it with the bench seat that came with the car I need to put a 2 inch spacer behind the seat back to allow me to touch the pedals. So my question who makes the bench type seat that that raw supply as the ones I have are a mix and match and not of much use or has anyone had the intertrim seats made narrower or is there another supplier cheers Kev.

Re: phoenix seats
I would go with bucket seats, mine had Tillett seats in it which Steve Tillett cut down specially to fit and now sells as the B3.5. I suggest you contact RAW if you want bench seats...

The Phoenix, like the Striker, is very narrow Rob and I doubt what fits your Stylus will fit the Phoenix.

I had the driver's side made to order so's to allow easy harness access --- if he's interested I can always measure them

Re: phoenix seats
You can make a bench seat for not much money (£20), I made my first one and it worked fine (no head rest needed in the old days of SVA).
Just some firm foam (I had some from packing from work) and cut it up. I covered using e-bay faux-leather stuff and contact adhesive. Not as pretty as the RAW version (no fancy stitching or that trim around the edges, but functionally equivalent). I attached to the rear panel with velcro (velcro rivetted onto panel and bonded to seat back).
If you make your own then you can size the foam to make sure you are sitting the right distance from the pedals. If you are good at sewing then you could even make it pretty.

Re: phoenix seats
Thanks all for the replies and advise.
Rob have sent you a pm re sizes required.
Matt: If all else fails I may have to make some bench seats. I am going to use for mainly road use but want to do track days as well. Have just booked to do leMans Classic so for this year this may have to do cheers Kev

Re: phoenix seats
Bench would look right for LeMans Classic.
I meant to go 2 years back, and will try again in 2014.
