Took me ages to source a 3.1 diff, even with a Sierra unit

power isnt a big problem , even for such "small" axles...the problem is the torque...you may destroy such an axle within a few months having a tuned V8 fitted...but it will last with a less torquey, highly tuned 4cylinder for a long time.
